College Is So Funny

     Throughout high school there were plenty of presentations requiring us to sit through hours of boring speakers. Each one talked for way too long and never had much interesting information to present. In fact, they'd often make the already boring information, even more boring. In order just to sit through it, half the students seemed to misbehave simply to entertain themselves and others. But many things have improved from high school to college. The better presentations included.

      I attended the College Humor show on campus. Many of the jokes may have been inappropriate,  but they appealed to the audience. The comedians were actually somewhat popular; opposed to the unknowns they'd scrap up for high school shows. The multiple comedians seemed to all be relatively young, with jokes about college life. The content ranged from jokes on college sex life, to partying, to sleeping, to classes. Come to realize that the entertainment here is actually entertaining. Which goes to show where all the tuition money is put towards. Regardless, I do look forward to attending future shows including comedy acts with the cast of "Whose Line Is It Anyway?"
