My Southern Learning Community

Being in a learning community has been a lot like being back in high school. Everyone in the classes is a lot closer and actually know each others names. We have to rely on each other for grades and help in assignments. All my other classes are nothing like this. I feel more on my own; especially in classes in lecture halls. Also, because of this, I feel closer to my professors and I feel like they are there to help me more. In a way I will miss this security the learning community provides, but at the same time I feel confident in classes where I know its every man for themself and I have only myslef to rely on for a grade.
